Christmas cookie class and luncheonWe'll make four different delicious Christmas cookies with lots of extras for you to take home. Then we'll all sit down to a lunch! A typical menu includes Crêpes Augusta Florentine (housemade crêpes stuffed with herbed chicken, spinach, and cream, topped with a 3-cheese sauce, and a salad of baby greens with candied walnuts, and crumbly Gorgonzola cheese with walnut oil dressing. Luncheon class offered December 9 through December 23. Class time is flexible, usually starting 11 am. with luncheon following. Class can accomodate from six to twelve participants. Cost is $30 per person. |

Holiday partiesPlan a holiday dinner party from December 9 through New Years Eve, Dec 31, 2011. Price per person is $75, including wine. From 10 to 24 guests. Relax in front of the fire in our soaring great room, and then sit down to a fabulous menu in our inviting dining room. See sample menus below and work with Karen to personalize your event. Vegetarian options can be accomodated. All courses are paired with premium Willamette Valley wines. |

Menu Sample #1Appetizer: Roast duck pate with dried apricots, cognac and pistachios on housemade crackers, served with cornichons. Paired with Pinot Gris. Soup: Cream of carrot, garnished with crème fraiche and baby shrimp Paired with Viognier Salad: Baby greens, candied walnuts and bosc pear, with toasted walnut oil and pear vinaigrette. Entrée: Rolled beef roast stuffed with spinach, pine nuts and fresh herbs, with red-wine reduction sauce, served with roasted root vegetables. Paired with Pinot Noir. Dessert: Your choice of: molten flourless chocolate cakes, served with vanilla ice cream; or cranberry swirl cheesecake. Paired with muscat. |

Paired with Willamette Valley sparkling wine Salad: "Jewel" salad with frisee, toasted hazelnuts, pomegranate, pita crisps and hazelnut oil dressing. Served with Tom's housemade cloverleaf rolls. Soup: Fresh butternut squash soup with leek and orange. Paired with: Dry Riesling Main course: Crisp roasted whole duck with savory potato galette and lightly steamed baby green beans. Paired with Pinot Noir. Dessert: Creme brulee, chocolate truffles. Paired with: Willamette Valley Muscat |
